Cactus County District Judging Clinic and Pen Show

The 4-H section of the 12th Annual Medicine Hat Stampede Pen Show held December 20th at the Fieldhouse was very successful. Approximately 75 4-H members from Alberta & Saskatchewan participated in the Team Grooming, Open Heifer, Bred Heifer, and 4-H Steer Jackpot. A list of participating clubs include Borderline Multi, Bindloss 4-H Multi, Irvine 4-H Beef, Seven Persons 4-H Beef, Abbey Lancer, Maple Creek Beef Club, Clairbank 4-H, Bon Ayr 4-H Beef, Irricana 4-H Beef & Multi, Ernfold 4-H, Arrowwood Beef Club, And Grassy Lake 4-H.

Open Heifer - 1st - Nicona Brost

Team Grooming:

In addition to the 4-H shows, a Multi Judging Workshop was held.
45 members from Cactus Country with 6 members from other areas received instruction on how to judge Heifers, Ranch horses, Grass Feed, and Vases.
